Maasai Mara National Reserve (masai mara national reserve )is one of the key popular tourism points in Kenya, its located in South-western Kenya along the Great Rift Valley area in Narok county Kenya adjacent to Serengeti national park of Tanzania all around Mara Region/ Masai mara region. The Reserve was named in honor of the ancestral inhabitants the Maasai people who described the area as Mara meaning spotted circles of trees, savanna, scrub and cloud shadows of the area. Masai Mara National Reserve was established in 1961 as a wildlife sanctuary covering a small area of only 520 square kilometers of the current Mara Triangle. In the same year, the masai mara national reserve kenya was extended to the East to cover around 1,821 square Kilometers, it’s at this point that it was converted into a game reserve under the new management of the local community of Narok County Council.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Beasts Africa Safaris Representative will pick you early in the morning from your hotel or from the airport bring you to the office for a short briefing of the safari after finalizing you will join the group and depart for Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley. You will stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint where you will take a few minutes to see the scenic views of this amazing landscape. Then you will proceed to Masai Mara Arriving in time for Lunch, after lunch you will have an afternoon game drive Maasai Mara offers excellent big cat encounters, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. You will see golden grassland plains pocked with acacia, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals you will enjoy game drive in search of the lion, the leopard, the cheetah, and the rhino among all the wildlife until late evening. Dinner and overnight will be at the Camp.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
You will have full day game drive. You will leave the camp with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Masai Village – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast in the camp, you will have an opportunity for a cultural tour which is known as Maasai village tour at en extra Cost Then we’ll depart for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Buraha Zenoni Resort or Similar.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli
After an early breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for its Different bird species are recorded and other animals that can be found also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope, later on with your Lunch on the way depart to Amboseli Arriving in the Evening Dinner and overnight at the Camp or Lodge.
Day 5: Amboseli full Day
A day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunch’s return overnight at the Camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Amboseli – Arusha
After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from the camp, and you will proceed to Namanga with lunch en route. You will go through the immigration process and later proceed to Arusha where you will arrive during the day and check in to your hotel booked for you on bed and breakfast only. Dinner will be on your own.
Day 7: Arusha – Serengeti
After breakfast your driver will pick you from your Hotel meet with the rest of the group that you will be traveling together and proceed to Serengeti National Park with your Lunch enroute later you will proceed to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive, Serengeti is one of the most popular national park in Tanzania and not only during the annual migration when wildebeest, zebra and Thomson gazelle joining the trek to look for fresh grazing. The Serengeti wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard and the African Jackal among others, Dinner and Overnight will be at the Lodge or Camp.
Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast the driver will pick you and proceed for final game drive in Serengeti with your lunch enroute proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening, Ngorongoro crater is one of the seven wonders in Africa arrive in the evening and Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.
Day 9: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast you will be picked by your guide and proceed to Ngorongoro 2000ft down to the crater exploring and viewing animals at a depression angle till you arrive at the crater rim, enjoy picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at Arusha Hotel booked bed and breakfast.
Day 10: Arusha – Nairobi
After breakfast Pick up from the hotel and transfer you to am shuttle bus to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon drop you at your hotel or Airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar we can as well drop you at the Arusha Airport.
